HIPAA Compliance Efforts
			
			
As part of HIPAA regulations, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) have 
			adopted ASC X12 version 5010 and ICD-10.   Sagamore is currently upgrading their system to 
			support 5010 and ICD-10.  Sagamore expects to be ready to begin testing version 5010 with 
			trading partners January 1, 2011.  Version 5010 will replace the current EDI standard version 
			4010A1 and all trading partners will be required to convert by January 1, 2012.
